I got my love of books from my Dad, who read a lot of books in his lifetime. I have been through spurts throughout my life of reading and not reading, but the past couple of years I have been a much more dedicated reader. My business is knitting and crocheting, and when I'm not working on my business, I can often be found reading. A good book, a big mug of coffee and a nice comfy chair is my happy place.
I love reading a lot of different book. The only books I don't like are straight up romance books. I don't mind Romantasy books, in fact I have become a big fan the past few months, but chick lit type books are not an interest for me.
That being said, I will read pretty much anything else. As I said, I recently became a big fan of romantasy books. All thanks to a woman named Sarah J Maas. From the moment I read Court of Thorns and Roses I have been a fan, not only of Sarah, but also romantasy books in general. Now I have read all five ACOTAR books and the first book in the Crescent City and Throne of Glass series of books.
