Introducing The All The Bubbles Shawl.
This crochet pattern is perfect for intermediate crocheters who love stripes, the bobble stitch and fringe. The finished shawl wrap is fantastic to wear out and about to both formal and informal events, whether it be a wedding or bbq with friends. It’s easy and so much fun to crochet once you get the design into your head.
It’s aimed at intermediate crocheters who are familiar with the bobble stitch, and treble in the back loop.
The easier stitches are the treble, double, chain, and skip stitch.
The shawl is finished by adding fringe to both ends, but this is optional.
Please note that this pattern is written in UK terms. For crocheters who work in US terms I have added a legend in the pattern to explain the different terms.
To crochet this shawl you will need the following:-
** 4mm crochet hook
** 2 x 100g balls of Bonjour Baby dk yarn in white - shade 2150 This is approximately 550 yds, 503 metres
** 1 x 100g ball of Bonjour Baby dk yarn in green - shade 833 This is approximately 275 yards, 252 metres
** 1 x 100g ball of Bonjour Baby dk yarn in pink - shade 807 This is approximately 275 yards, 252 metres
All of the above yarns are available in the UK via Poundstretcher stores - www.poundstretcher.co.uk Any similar dk yarn will also work
** pair of scissors
** darning needle to weave in the ends
The finished shawl (unblocked) measures: Length - 160cm/63in without the fringe, 200cm/79in with the fringe Width: 34cm/13.5in
